Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

TL;DR

We store temporary short code mappings for 24 hours to enable redirects. No personal data is collected. Links auto-expire and all data is deleted. That's it.

1. Information We Collect

Short answer: Only the URL you want to shorten, temporarily.

Long answer: When you create a creepy link, we store:

  • A temporary mapping between a short code and your target URL
  • This mapping expires automatically after 24 hours

We do NOT:

  • Track your browsing activity
  • Collect personal information
  • Use cookies for tracking purposes
  • Share any data with third parties

2. How We Use Information

Since we don't collect any information, we don't use any information. It's a beautiful, privacy-respecting cycle.

3. Data Storage

Short link mappings are stored in secure, encrypted cloud storage (Vercel KV). All data automatically expires and is permanently deleted after 24 hours. We cannot recover expired links.

4. Third-Party Services

CreepyLink may use the following third-party services:

  • CDN providers for delivering static assets (fonts, scripts)
  • Hosting provider for serving the website

These services may collect basic analytics like page views. Refer to their respective privacy policies for more information.

5. Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing to delete, export, or modify. You have full control over your data because... we don't have it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
